The Media Planner – Brand Science role reports to the Senior Manager of Brand Science and is responsible for media strategy, planning and analysis of brand response campaigns for Short Form Client Services.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 


  • Planning television media schedules that meet client audience delivery goals against a target demographic
    • Audience delivery goals include: Impression, Ratings, CPM, CPP, and Reach/Frequency
    • Work with clients to provide post campaign analysis
    • Work extensively with syndicated research tools
    • Conduct research and present on competitive reports, industry trends, and tv media consumption levels
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications (Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities):

  • 4 year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Economics
  • 2 years as a TV Media Planner – preferably at an agency
  • Strong communication skills required as the role will interface with clients, account executives, buyers, and analytics
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Problem Solving/Trouble Shooting skills with aggressive decision making nature
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • High level of attention to detail, organization, accuracy and speed required
  • Works well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy and professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with short timelines in a fast paced dynamic environment
