We are a full-service, direct response agency, headquartered in Carlsbad, CA with offices in Boston, MA; Los Angeles CA and Portland OR. This position is located in Carlsbad, CA or Boston, MA.

 

Summary:

 

The analytics group is looking for a detail-oriented data enthusiast who enjoys interpreting and transforming client business needs into insightful analyses.  This is a solution-driven position that uses a variety of analytic methods to derive actionable insights from client and industry data.  In addition to having strong analytic skills, the candidate should be able to develop clear and concise communications for both internal and external clients.  Knowledge of advertising and direct marketing concepts is also a plus

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing trusted relationships with internal and external clients and work across departments
  • Utilizing analytic and data management techniques to create actionable insights that impact the ROI of marketing campaigns
  • Producing and optimizing client-oriented marketing attribution results in a timely manner
  • Research and resolve aberrant attribution model output
  • Solution seeking behavior to improve client’s ROI on advertising in accordance with the account team
  • Steward the onboarding process of new clients – meet with internal and external clients to understand and interpret client needs which will be translated into model requirements
  • Organizing and prioritizing department’s client projects
  • Identify opportunities to enhance legacy models, quality control and reporting processes
  • Work with developers to enhance and quality control the client data flows
  • Applying quantitative and qualitative methods for problem identification and solution

 

Skills / Abilities:

  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Ability to work independently with guidance from the Director of Analytics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of advertising and direct marketing concepts a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is a plus
  • Some knowledge of statistical programs such as R, SAS, Stata, SPSS or their equivalents is a plus
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts with ability to perform complex queries in T-SQL is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, communications, marketing or social science with a quantitative focus
  • 1-2 years of experience in analytics
