DESCRIPTION:

 

Account Supervisor will serve as the primary client interface for companies utilizing multiple direct response marketing/media channels.  Account Supervisor position requires the ability to manage, and begin to lead, the agency’s day-to-day relationship with key client contacts and earns and keeps each clients’ respect and confidence as a trusted advisor bringing value to their business through a strong commitment to success, consistent performance and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions. The individual will provide leadership, management and counsel on marketing initiatives of integrated marketing services.  Channels may include digital/interactive services, TV, radio, direct mail, collateral

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for maintaining and growing the partnership of each client through client service management, accurate and timely program delivery and execution of strategic account development across media channels
  • Make recommendations regarding online and offline programs that will help achieve objectives and ROI
  • Manages and assists with client accounts/programs including: budgeting, profitability, project management and strategic marketing plans
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills and ability to think conceptually, strategically and creatively
  • Effectively balance the dual expectations of our clients and the agency
  • Display marketing curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency’s work in new directions
  • Clearly establish objectives and priorities for client initiatives
  • Help develop, articulate, and adhere to, agreed upon strategies
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of each client’s business and industry
  • Must possess excellent communication skills so as to be able to effectively explain ideas to clients regarding their advertising and media programs
  • Assists in the development of program strategies, objectives and tactics
  • Will ensure that client expectations and requirements are clearly understood and maintain overall satisfaction and retention of clients on assigned programs/campaigns
  • Assists in planning both short and long term strategic objectives for the client
  • Take ownership of projects, develop and manage budgets, schedules and scope of resources through collaboration with other team members
  • Provide effective and efficient oversight of agency resources to insure projects are delivered as promised in terms of time, budgets and results
  • Prepare thorough, accurate and consistent work to clients reflective of the agency’s quality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or Economics
  • 5+ years experience in a similar position at a fast paced agency or on the client side
  • Experience in Account Management with either TV or online/interactive marketing campaigns
  • Detail-oriented, good follow-up skills, multi-tasker and able to work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Establish clear objectives and day-to-day priorities for yourself and ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in “owning” high-quality programs that have provided measurable and meaningful results
  • Strong verbal, visual, written and presentation skills – specifically talking with clarity and confidence to clients, and writing concise presentations and proposals
  • Effectively plan and organize the work of you and your team – handling multiple projects efficiently, effectively and productively
  • Provide effective and efficient oversight of agency resources to insure projects are delivered as promised in terms of time, budgets and results
  • Identify, classify, categorize and be able to retrieve information as required by you or agency team members
  • Prepare thorough, accurate and consistent work to clients reflective of the agency’s quality standards
