Under direct supervision of an account executive, the Account Coordinator will help support our clients’ direct response TV (DRTV) marketing campaigns.  Responsibilities include assisting the AE with strategic planning for DRTV clients with ROI and/or audience delivery goals, preparing for client communications, generating and justifying media proposals, managing buyers, managing media, and generating accurate and timely performance reports.    


  • Will work with AE to ensure daily tasks are completed in an efficient and quality manner
  • Identification, documentation, and communication of client needs, goals, and expectations
  • Attend weekly client calls with AE and assist with preparation of all materials needed for calls
  • Daily review of media performance in order to ensure clients’ KPI’s (key performance indicators) are being met
  • Assist AE with the planning and management of client budgets
  • Daily interaction with buyers to obtain station rates and negotiate future media bookings
  • Daily interaction with buyers and media assistants to ensure media is airing at the times and rates requested by the account executive and agreed to by the buyer
  • Proficiency with various reporting systems and software desired
  • Plan effective media schedules using historical client data, syndicated research tools, target demographic info and competitor analysis
  • Prepare client presentations and custom reports using PowerPoint, Excel, or other tools
  • Regularly communicates on work assignments, reporting  challenges to the attention of the client services manager
  • Other assignments as delegated


  • 4 year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Economics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with media buying, traffic, data operations, invoicing, sourcing, and analytics helpful
  • Capable of multitasking and possesses strong prioritization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be able to work well in a collaborative environment as well as individually
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
