  • Overview

    The Sr. DOQS Analyst will be working with a hands-on and very supportive Manager in the company’s Analytics Department. DOQS stands for Data Onboarding & Quality Services and this role is a client facing thought leadership role.  This department is responsible for processing and maintaining all the data that flows into the company, as well as the call forecasting, data authenticity and troubleshooting of day to day reporting issues. The individual will work very closely with internal and external partners, along with industry vendors, in setting up the reporting aspect for new campaigns and monitoring and reporting on changes in client campaigns over time.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee timely delivery of reports and insight in a fast-paced, environment to key clients
    • Present issues, trends & recommendations to internal and client teams in a clear, concise & focused manner
    • Gather and organize information needs and requirements from multiple departments
    • Analyze daily reports and resolve discrepancies
    • Understand each account’s overall strategic and tactical objectives, assisting with the reporting implementation and ongoing maintenance.
    • Update internal teams on client status in a timely and efficient manner
    • Understand the full breadth and depth of Analytics capabilities and approaches and be able to speak intelligently about them with clients on weekly status calls.  While not required to be an expert in every area of Analytics, the ideal candidate will be able to field questions about methodologies and approaches at more than a cursory level.
    • Analyze data in Excel using advanced pivot tables and macros as well as Tableau and other analytics and visualization tools and techniques
    • Complete moderate to complex projects involving research and analysis of more complex clients
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as required by management

    Secondary Responsibilities


    • Leverage past experience to analyze large and potentially unfamiliar data sets that will drive innovative insights.
    • Work with developers to improve and streamline processes regarding data flow in an effort to improve data accuracy, viability and value
    • Review/maintain existing campaigns to ensure accuracy in data
    • Continually look for improvements in the media system and data collection processes for all campaigns


    Who's right for the job?


    This position requires timely coordination with multiple parties while meeting vital deadlines. Candidates should have expert Excel capabilities, and should be able to maintain a high level of accuracy in data processing. Qualities required in candidates include a positive and team-oriented attitude, good attention to detail and strong follow-through, a high-energy level and self-starter, and the ability to communicate with internal teams and industry vendors. A demonstrated ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is a must. Strong analytical skills, including problem framing, problem solving, use of statistics and data visualization in also required. Working knowledge of relational data base concepts will be beneficial.



    • 5+ years of data analysis and attribution experience
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex consumer behavior and businesses concepts

    • Preferred experience with television as an advertising medium, including knowledge of measurement concepts such as ratings, impressions, and reach & frequency
    • Strong project management mindset with ability to multitask
    • Demonstrated ability to independently research and learn new technology or analysis techniques
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, with some MS Access experience preferred (create Excel pivot tables and lookup arrays, and navigate proprietary databases in Access or SQL Server)
    • Knowledge of relational database concepts with ability to transform raw internal or client data into formats that facilitate analytic processing
    • Understanding of marketing optimization levers used to optimize campaign performance both within and across channels
    • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Excellent organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a client-focused, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
